2010 was a big year for me. It’s a year where I made big decisions like choosing my course and where to study for college. I also have many first time experiences like..

• exploring Manila on my own.
• attended a concert
• shoot pictures for the school organ and it won in the nationals
• got my first ever SLR
• joined in a photography club
• joined a photomarathon
• designed shirts for other schools
• influenced by art  and took it as my career
• organized a Christmas party and it turned out to be successful
• was active  in my last year in highschool (I was a movie editor and photojournalist)
• had online buddies on the web through multiply and tumblr
• little by little, I stepped out of my comfort zone
• made a vlog
• tried out modeling, just for fun
• tried cosplaying

So this year, aside of embracing independency and paying electric bills, there are many things I’d like to try out. I listed down projects that a 17 yr-old girl like me can do.

• to start my own shirt printing business
• to finish my 52 weeks photo project
• decorate my new room with the help of my friends (Maybe we’ll paint in a big canvass then I’ll hang it on my wall, doodle my closet or wall, make a collage by print pictures/shots into Polaroid style then stick it on my table or wall)
• design my own 2012 planner and have it printed
• revamp my closet & wear something new everyday (just because I don’t dress girly)
• make pastries for Valentine’s day then spread love in the air >:)
• organize a big party for my 181th birthday in case mom won’t come home from abroad
• finally master how to use all the Adobe products by the end of the year (LOL)
• have a photo-collaboration with some tumblogers.
• learn to cook for myself
• learn how to drive and ride a bicycle
• try out underwater photography
• make a film about our barkada
• buy something from an online store
• Illustrate a story book (I’m not good with vector and drawing stuffs so I’ll try my best)
• save a lot of money to buy something I really like (e.g. new camera lenses, iPod)
• get 3 4’s in my final grade (I got 2 4’s last term)
• not to be afraid of getting my hair done in a salon (puro trim lang ng buhok ang kaya kong pagawa)
• learn to put make up on mah fez (because I’m a loser like that)
• make a cover song (because I want to be a singer even just for once)
